Three aging white dudes form a band and the world asks “who cares?”

It’s a fair point, but these fine fellows are the good ones. With age comes experience and perspective, but sadly, also a groan from the younger generations. Although sometimes those younger generations forget how to rock and they need a lesson from their elders.

Enter Jet Power.

They’re making damn good punk-rock like this scrappy number called “Cake Saw” about the minutiae of the daily grind. Dallas, Hank and Grant are a force behind Edmonton’s local scene… in fact they even stay local to their neighbourhood of Norwood. It’s where they live, where this track was recorded, and also where their next show will be played as they open for Ted Leo & The Pharmacists at The Aviary on March 1st.
