New Motherhood Track
Fredericton’s Motherhood have been a favourite at the Cups N Cakes Network every since Jeff & Carey saw them play Sappyfest 9 in 2014. Although the band is well known in Eastern Canada, the rest of the country is still missing out on this amazing act that fuses punk, country, psych and more into a sound that is utterly unique. With the help of their forthcoming album, Dear Bongo, 2019 will prove to be the year the rest of Canada catches up and discovers that Motherhood are one of the coolest bands in the country.
Dear Bongo, is coming out via Forward Music Group on March 1st and is available for pre-order now. Formats include 180g vinyl (mustard yellow), CD, cassette and digital download.
Today we are pleased to share with you the albums third single which is entitled “Costanza”. The track is an interpretation of “Can’t Hardly Stand It” by Charlie Feather and was discovered by frontman Brydon Crain via an 80’s version by The Cramps.
