Single Premiere: Young Howler - Flip Phone

Today we get to premiere a new track from a relatively new band. Red Deer, Alberta’s Young Howler have quickly picked up steam in their hometown. In their short existance they’ve been able to draw opening slots for Five Alarm Funk, Apollo Suns, The Wilderness of Manitoba, Close Talker, and Fast Romantics. Last year, Young Howler released their debut album, made their radio debut, and completed their first Canadian tour. They’re no secret in their small city as they were awarded "Best New Group/Artist" for the 2018 Red Deer Entertainment Awards.

The track we are premiering for Young Howler is called "Flip Phone" and is a high energy dance tune with funk and pop influences. It was recorded in the heart of downtown Red Deer, and was produced by Greg Burken and Young Howler. The song will act as a stand along single to whet the appetite while they prepare to put out their sophomore record.
