Swamp Fest and SoulSound Announce Contest Winners

Last year the Cups N Cakes Network teamed up with Regina’s Swamp Fest for the first time. This incredible festival blew team members Jeff and Jeshaiah’s minds and they can’t wait for the 2020 edition. (Read about Swamp Fest 2019 here)

While all the great days of music were happening this past September, SoulSound Studio had been running a contest that would see two winners get a single mixed by Orion Paradis who is a producer and engineer at SoulSound. Paradis has had a hand in some of our favourite releases of the past couple years including:

  • Wolf Willow - And the Leaves Have Turned to Amber - Record, Mix and Master (Best EP's 2019 / Best Singles 2019)

  • Natural Sympathies - Porous - Mix & Master - (Best Singles 2019)

The contest winners were picked by T.A.B, the resident swamp monster who doubles as the mascot for this great festival. This year T.A.B picked songs from Gaelan Blurb (drummer for Beach Body, Etienne Fletcher) and Keiran Semple (Lord Byrun). Listen to each track below:
