Single/Video Premiere: Self-Cut Bangs - "Pillow Talk"

I think the world can collectively agree that the Coronavirus Pandemic has made 2020 a horrifying year. Most of the planet ended up in some sort of quarantine situation. In an effort to remain positive, the Cups N Cakes Network is pleased to point out some good that came out of the quarantine.

Case in point: Self-Cut Bangs.

This Calgary duo, made up of Cayley O'Neill (Dark Time) and Shawn Petsche (Napalmpom), began crafting music during their city’s lock-down as an economical way to pass the time. Before they knew it, they had developed a routine of waking up Saturday morning, then writing and recording a song before the sun went down. As the months passed, the tradition continued and it wasn’t long before they had an entire album of material.

Today we are excited to announce the debut album from this exciting Power-Pop meets Rock N’ Roll band. The self-titled release will arrive on September 18th, but we’d like to urge you to pre-order it this Friday when Bandcamp waives their fees and 100% of purchase profits go directly to the artists.
