MS DOS
Kind Of Day // Independent
The debut from Edmonton's MS DOS is loosely based on a day in their life. Each track represents a different part of the day with the morning and evening making up the majority of the album. They manage to blend soul and jazz into an experimental realm like none I’ve ever heard before. I’ve been listening to this album on repeat for over a month now and still can’t figure out how to put it into words. It seems to open with some self loathing… a smashing hangover perhaps. The day moves along getting more positive until the evening brings forth a sensual encounter ending in a dream world (Cue the most perfectly placed nod to Willy Wonka’s Pure Imagination).
This album is an attention grabber… Chill, sexy and cool as fuck. MS DOS suck you into their world and never let go. They leave you craving… No… Begging for more.
