Episode 137 - Sled Island Preview 2019

On episode 137 of the Cups N Cakes Radio Show, Ella allows Jeff to return to discuss the Sled Island Music Festival, which takes place this year June 19th - 23rd in various locations across Calgary’s downtown core. With over 250 acts playing the festival, Ella and Jeff combed over the entire lineup to pick out some Canadian acts that need to be on every festival goers radar. They spend some time chatting about the Screaming Females show on Wednesday night at Dickens Pub which the Cups N Cakes Network is honoured to present. They also discuss which non-Canadian acts they’re most excited to see and Ella talks about how thrilled she is to have her “Sister Ray” project named as opener for Julien Baker on Saturday night at The Palace Theatre.
