Single Premiere: The Lone Palms - The Lone Palm
Vancouver band The Lone Palms are charging onto the scene with their infectious indie-rock sound and fun filled live shows. They’ve been ramping up to the release of their debut EP Fun and Games by releasing a new single every two weeks. Today the Cups N Cakes Network is pleased to present the final single and the opportunity to purchase the whole EP. The final track is called “The Lone Palm” and the band explains:
"The Lone Palm was originally intended as an origin story of one melancholic palm. The lyrics depict the internal journey of growing up and using your mistakes as the fertile soil for your next growth. It's the cyclical nature of all things. We also love the fact the band Bad Company had a song and an album that was just their name. We wanted to do something similar. It’s both tongue'n'cheek and moody introspection."
Listen to “The Lone Palm” below and catch The Lone Palms live in Vancouver on November 5th at Red Gate Arts Society with Trampoline and Ford Pier.
