In addition to music, Winterruption will also feature art and comedy events, including LA’s King of nerd-comedy, author, actor and stand-up Brian Posehn. Other artists and events announced include Alberta Music’s 35th Anniversary show, Jennifer Castle, Dboy, Hannah Epperson, Nuela Charles, Blessed, Wares, Too Soon Monsoon, Iron Tusk, 36?, The Hearts, Kathleen McGee, Tzadeka, Mourainè, Rosina Cove, Electric Audrey 2, Josh Sahunta, Electricity For Everybody! and Super Duty Tough Work.

These amazing artists will be hosted in multiple downtown Edmonton venues including The Starlite Room, Temple, Freemasons Hall, Downtown Edmonton Community League, The Cask & Barrel, Rocky Mountain Icehouse, Station on Jasper and an outdoor event in Abbey Glen Park on 102st and Jasper Avenue.

“I hope people enjoy the diverse and inclusive line-up we’ve programmed for 2020, and everyone is set for some fun in and out of the winter snow. I couldn’t be happier with the artists that have agreed to perform, and the local and national partnership support for this first time out of the gate,” says festival producer Brent Oliver.
