Video Premiere: Andrea Rankin - "The Party"

Classically trained singer and pianist, Andrea Rankin will be releasing her debut on November 6th. The EP is called Tides and it’s a beautiful six song effort of bedroom-pop fused with indie-folk. Recorded with Jesse Northey at True North Recording Studios, the EP explores themes of regret, resilience, loss and healing and has been getting some steady rotation at the Cups N Cakes offices.

The multi-talented Andrea Rankin is also an actor with a BFA in Acting from the University of Alberta. She has performed on stages across the country and this season was to play Ophelia in Hamlet and Hero in Much Ado About Nothing at The Stratford Festival, until the season was cancelled mid-March.
