Video Premiere: David Ivan Neil - Live On Carport TV

Last year the Cups N Cakes Network swooned over What Is Love from Abbotsford’s David Ivan Neil. The album made our Honourable Mention list for the best albums of 2019, while the track “Walmart Parking Lot” ranked way up at number six on our list of the “Best Tracks Of 2019”

Today we are pleased to premiere a hilarious video of David Ivan Neil performing tracks from What Is Love on the fictitious public access show Carport TV. Unfortunately, the VHS that the performance was recorded on ended up having random snippets of an informercial spliced-in over his set. Oddly, that infomercial is of David Ivan Neil trying to sell his new record in various dead formats. The movie was directed and edited by Casey Kowalchuk and it’s brilliant.
