Single Premiere: Paige Drobot - "Woman"

We were introduced to Winnipeg’s Paige Drobot about a year ago when she released her wonderful debut EP entitled Zero Thought. Today we are pleased to be able to announce a follow up release that will arrive via Transistor 66 on June 5th. The effort consists of two tracks plus a bonus demo version of the second track, “Everything.”

Today we are excited to be premiering the first track which is called “Woman.” Musically it carries a sugary oldies vibe but lyrically the tune is anything but sweet. The words detail the constant frustration and contempt regarding the typical crap women are forced to deal with from men on a day to day basis. Paige’s vocals are fierce and expertly juxtapose the music creating an engaging listen from start to finish.
