Premiere: Touch & Moves - The Inner Party
East and West come together to flex their hip-hop superiority as the long-anticipated collaboration between Halifax’ DJ Moves and Edmonton’s Touch nears its release date. Touch has been in the game for over two decades, continually delivering bars that blow the minds of even the most lauded wordsmiths, while Moves has become a Canadian beat making legend with over 60 albums under his belt. Their upcoming EP is called 1984 and is set to be released on December 3rd through Toronto’s Hand'Solo Records.
The first single, “Thought Krhyme,” was released on September 17th and today we are very excited to deliver an exclusive premiere of the second track from 1984. The song is called “The Inner Party” and it features Touch's trademark complicated rhyme schemes over a dark boom bap beat composed of horrifying samples over slick drums.
Catch “The Inner Party,” one day early below in the form of a music video. Tomorrow (Oct 15th), the song becomes available everywhere and the pre-order for 1984 will be activated here.
