Video Premiere: Dried Out - White Noise

Vancouver’s Dried Out have turned down the garage influenced punk of their 2017 debut album, By Design, and cranked up the noise-punk and post-punk influences on their brand new single, “White Noise,” which was released on October 15th. The single dropped with the announcement of their sophomore album, It Feels Alright, scheduled for release on December 4th. The day will also coincide with a release show at the Wise Hall in Vancouver, BC with opening acts Dead Soft (Nanaimo), The This (Victoria), and NMA (Vancouver).

We caught up with Dried Out’s lead singer, Henry Peters, to discuss the theme of the new song:

“White Noise lyrically is about the acceptance of your fate; whether it may or may not be out of your control. What you see when you look in the mirror might not be what is perceived and when you come to terms with what is out of your control, it may make you a happier person. Ignoring the static, or white noise in your life will ultimately be the key to your happiness. I reference that in some of my lyrics specifically, where I talk about facing my fear/tribulation/depression and how I face it head on, then move past it. It’s definitely a healing journey that, hopefully, others can relate to and interperate anyway they choose.”

Today we are very excited to share the music video for this amazing new track. Enjoy it below and check out more from Dried Out in the form of a live video we premiered back in March, 2021.
