Premiere: N. Sherman - I Want to Go Back

Kelowna, BC’s N. Sherman plays haunting folk tunes with deeply contemplative lyrics. He uses sparse arrangements to further underline his thought provoking words. Words to get lost within while relating them to personal experiences. With a full length expected in late 2021, we are very happy to be able to premiere his second single of the year.

The song is called "I Want to Go Back,” and it carries a theme of nostalgia and longing for the past. A hazy collage of past experiences and a desire to return to those fond memories is accentuated by three separate acoustic guitars harmonizing as reverb-soaked piano sets a dreamlike ambiance. “Were those fond memories real? Were those times as great as remembered? Could they ever be replicated?” N. Sherman’s gift is his ability to get the listener losing themselves within his songs while they relate his words to their own lives.
