Premiere: The Spanish Flies - To Remember

The Spanish Flies are an Edmonton band that blend indie rock, latin pop and psychedelia to create fun, danceable jams. They have plans to leave their city later this year to explore new music scenes within Canada and also abroad. Although news of their departure from the City of Champions will be felt by many, rest assured they plan to go out with a bang.

It all starts today with our premiere of their new single, “To Remember.” The track is a heartfelt piece that reflects on deep human emotions. It was written by bassist Erik Escobar and produced by lead singer Fel Gamarra (If the name Fel Gamarra rings a bell, that might be because he is a writer at the Cups N Cakes Network, read his last review here). The band states that the single explores new sounds and textures that will give us a preview of what’s to come.
