Premiere: King Of Foxes - Seven Years

King of Foxes is the alt-pop project from Edmonton songwriter Olivia Street. Through this project, Street delivers poetic lyrics that can be both fierce and fragile, over hook laden guitar pop. True “ear-worm” gems that could easily fit in on the pop charts. It’s been three years since King of Foxes released their Salt & Honey album (which was subject to an extremely fun Vinyl Unveil where Olivia Street joined Jeff to open her own LP), and today we are very excited to share the first single from its follow-up which will arrive in the fall.

The song is called “Seven Years” and it’s a song about change and how time is the great memory eraser. Life goes on, people change, feelings change and we continue to grow. A lovely sentiment from a song with feel good summer vibes. The lyric video adds to the summer feel with an abundance of colourful flowers opening up to full bloom.
