Premiere: BRASS - Bad Neighbours
It’s been over four years since BRASS released their fantastic album For Everyone. Yes it’s true there was a pandemic in there that stole a decent chunk of everyone’s lives but that doesn’t change the fact that we’ve been patiently waiting to hear new shout along anthems and heavy hitting riffs from this loud Vancouver band. Even more exciting is the prospect of seeing their wild, sweat-soaked live show once again.
Well… guess what?
That the four year wait is over!
On October 21st, BRASS will release a brand new five song EP called Look On The Bright Side via Early Onset Records. The EP will be the first release with new members Kennedy Pawluk and Zach Mouallem who were added during the pandemic, effectively turning a three piece into a five piece and making them a whole lot louder!
A statement from the band reveals that:
“Look On The Bright Side reflects on the chaotic and often dark state of the world we currently live with lyrical themes that explore the tumultuous nature of our neighbours to the south, toxic masculinity and acknowledging one’s privilege. Though as the name suggests, there're bright spots in our lives and hope to hold on to.”
