Premiere: MELODNA - ROTATION

Look out Canada! The prairies has a new voice in Hip-Hop and R&B that is primed and ready to take this country by storm. Regina, Saskatchewan’s MELODNA has been turning heads all across the prairies, having already played some of the most important festivals found on our flattest, most fertile lands (Sled Island, Regina Folk Fest, Breakout West).

This Zambian-Canadian artist blurs lines between genres, using R&B, Hip-Hop, and Afro-infusion to craft cozy tunes that will have you hitting repeat. Today the Cups N Cakes Network is very excited to premiere MELODNA’s newest single, “ROTATION.”

Infused with Afrobeat style instruments and ‘oh-so-good’ R&B vocals, “ROTATION” is a vibrant downtempo track that pairs perfectly with our upcoming winter. Speaking of winter, make sure you catch MELODNA at BIG Winter Classic in Calgary at the end of January!
