Premiere: Niloo - To Feel It Deep

Last June, the Cups N Cakes Network got the pleasure of introducing the rest of Canada to Victoria’s Niloo with a single/video premiere of a song called “Funny Face.” The track got us very excited for a debut release from Niloo and the video would go on to make our list of the “Best Video’s of 2021.” Off the strength of the debut single, we’ve been anxiously awaiting to hear more from this rising artist… we are happy to report that the wait is over

We are very excited to share the first single from Niloo’s forthcoming debut EP. The song is called “To Feel It Deep” and it arrives today in video form. The visuals interweave three scenes that represent three different facets of post-heartbreak reflection: a vocal performance scene highlighting the lyrics, a movement scene with evocative choreography, and lastly, a water scene representing renewal. Niloo teamed up with the talented director and filmmaker Ali Calladine, who shot Niloo’s previous music video for “Funny Face.” The music video features choreography and performance by Ella Huber of The Space Collective, as well as performances by Niloo and Youssef Ben Ammar.

The single arrives everywhere on February 25th, but you can enjoy an exclusive premiere now at Cups N Cakes.
