Video Premiere: Garbageman - Tales from the Shed
Today the Cups N Cakes Network is very excited to premiere the first live off the floor music video from Whitehorse, Yukon’s Garbageman. The release is titled Garbageman: Tales from the Shed and it features three original tracks shot back to back in the home shed studio of Dave the Garbageman. The video is meant to act as an introduction to who and what Garbageman is all about.
For those keen followers of Cups N Cakes, you may remember our introduction to Garbageman with a “Quick Pick” review of their debut album, Tales From the Landfill. For that mini-review, Brandon Kruze stated:
“Whitehorse’s Garbageman is a project dedicated to those responsible for cleaning up the waste that humans have created. His newest album, Tales from the Landfill, takes an approach in calm chaos; with mellow down tempo songs with an underlying unpredictability that leaves the listener enthralled and on the edge of their seat.”
We are very excited to be the publication further delivering content form this up and coming new act. In the video Dave the Garbageman is featured on guitar and vocals and is joined by Cain Rogan (bass, vocals), Tara Martin (drums, vocals), Selina Heyliger-Hare (organ, vocals) and Charles Hegsted (vocals, MPC, projector). The songs featured in order are Evelyn, Small Town Brains and Wrestling Club. The video was produced by local film enthusiast Daniel Little and mixed and mastered by Vancouver based engineer and producer Bayan Kazemi.
