The Great Sabatini/N0V3L/EXEK/Taylor Curtis/Sicayda
The Great Sabatini - Dirge Of The Cruel
Here is a noise/drone epic that was created in a completely unconventional way. The song started it’s life as “The Birth Of The Cruel” from the bands 2009 release, Sad Parade Of Yesterdays. Since then the 4 minute song had a slowed down, 32 minute version locked up in an electronic crypt somewhere, waiting for its moment to wreak havoc.
N0V3L/EXEK - NOV3L EXEK SPL1T
This is a two song split EP. N0V3L takes track one with “Violent and Paranoid” which starts with brooding synths and sax and kicks it into high gear with aggressively spoken vocals and sharp rhythmic string slinging. EXEK finishes things off with “Lottery of Inheritance” which is a dark synth laden tune with a deathly melody.
Taylor Curtis - “Glass House”
Featuring crystal clear vocals and a solid hook, “Glass House” is the catchy new single from Taylor Curtis out of Burnaby, B.C. Stay tuned for more because this only the second song from his Neurotica EP which is due out sometime early in 2020.
Sicayda - “It Changed”
“It Changed” is a new single by Toronto’s Sicayda, providing a sneak peak into the bands forthcoming album. The track is raw and conveys a lot of emotion with guitars that somehow twinkle and shriek as electric vocals cut like a knife.
