This is the sixth (but first full length) release in five years by Calgary’s Sunglaciers who have really found their sound.  Foreign Bodies is not necessarily psych-rock but also not quite anything else as it effortlessly flows from dreamy to frantic.

Red Arms - Critical State

The new album released by London, Ontario’s Red Arms a week ago is a real banger. Critical State is the polished form of what the band has been doing since 2013, kicking out high-volume, anthemic punk-rock jams.

Cecil Frena - Pit Boss

Edmonton’s Cecil Frena returns with another quirky punk album that is seriously goofy. Pit Boss is meant to be amusing and it almost makes fun of the tropes of heavy music while still totally embracing it.
