Workprint, DEAR-GOD, Boar God, and Flavortoun
Workprint - Snake Of June
Regina’s Workprint breaks away from the stereotypes of the one man band with the same raw energy that would normally be associated with a rowdy group. Snake Of June is the bedroom album for those with a bomb shelter because this is way over bedroom volume.
DEAR-GOD - “Buck”
“Buck” is the latest single from Brampton, Ontario’s DEAR-GOD and it will help you buck your ‘currently listening’ trends. The track is a hypnotic mix of hip-hop and hardcore that is fresh and extremely up beat.
Boar God - Near Extinction
Walls of shimmering, melodic noise from the guitars are driven along by strong rhythmic variations for something that is distinctly Boar God. The band has developed a unique sound that can be heard coming together between their previous EP, Forma and their latest, Near Extinction.
Flavortoun - Tales from the Flavourful Realm
These tasty jams come to you from the former keeper of the keys for the stoner-metal juggernauts, Chronobot. Flavortoun has a sound that could best be described as riff-rock for the piano and has synth solos standing strong in places that guitars would normally dominate.
