Hieronymus Harry, D-Sisive, MASSIRRAYTORR, and RINSE DREAM
Hieronymus Harry - The River of Doom
I love eccentricity and folk music, but rarely do these factors play into each other. Hieronymus Harry is here to change that. Taking a surrealist approach to an age-old genre, Harry’s songs are upbeat and bizarre by design, but interlaced with an underlying beauty that really shows the heart he put behind every track.
D-Sisive - Knoblich Gardens
This album, released in two parts, has some stellar lyrical storytelling along with some jamming beats. D-Sisive shows us his range through songs that range from “Derek”, where he offers insight to himself, to “Brendan Fraser”, where he speaks about the desire for fame. Each of these 15 tracks tell a compelling tale.
MASSIRRAYTORR - TWINCUSSION
Chaos personified. This nine track album is about porn, bongs, and shitting on Costco, all wrapped in a true stoner rock powerhouse of a sound. The vocals are aggressive and gritty , reminiscent of early punk. Taking in all the sounds, it’s hard not to let the mayhem consume you.
RINSE DREAM - SPACES
Described by BleeK Swinney as “Pure incendiary Artpunk”, I couldn’t say it better myself. Their experimental and hard hitting sound takes a variety of forms, leaving you curious for what comes next. For example, “Heavy Thinking”, they integrate spoken vocals in the track that makes for a trippy experience if you’re wearing headphones. It’s a real show of an album.
