Single Premiere: RV Farms - Waiting For The Snow To Fall

Edmonton’s Dan English put out a wonderful bedroom-pop album last year under his RV Farms moniker. It was a great album and didn’t receive the attention it deserved. Because of this we put it on our list of 2019 albums that “Slipped Through The Cracks”.

This time around, the Cups N Cakes Network will do a better job. RV Farms are starting 2020 where they left off by giving us a gorgeous new tune. The track is called “Waiting For The Snow To Fall” and is a stand-alone single.

When asked about the track, English said:

“When I wrote it, I had written a bunch of rough sketches. This one stuck with me because of the fact that the chorus has a repetitive and cyclical feeling chord progression that really serves an extended instrumental well. It is the first song that I have finished and released as RV Farms that has a full on guitar solo and a real “jammy” quality to it. Around the time of writing this song, I was listening to the Flock of Dimes record on repeat so I think I can hear bits of influence of Jenn Wasner (flock of dimes/wye oak).”
