It's A Canadian Holiday Season!
The Holiday season is here and most of the country is being told they will not be seeing their family in person. This unfortunate development puts the cherry on top of the giant fecal cake that was 2020.
To help bring a little light in to your place of isolation, the Cups N Cakes Network decided to compile a bunch of Holiday tunes created by independent Canadian musicians. Take some time to decompress with some of our favourite Holiday songs released this past month.
(And please consider paying for what you hear... The music community across this country needs a pick-me-up just like everyone else)
Keeping On Records
The amazing folks at Keeping On Records have given us two fantastic holiday songs.
One from Aladean Kheroufi who had an outstanding 2020 with an EP that ranked #3 on our list of the Best EPs of 2020 and his song “Sorry If I Hurt You” came in at #8 on our countdown of the Best Songs of 2020.
The second holiday single comes courtesy of The Bobby Tenderloin Universe who’s self-titled album was on our list of the Best Albums of 2019. Even more exciting is that the track features Marlaena Moore who released the album Pay Attention, Be Amazed! early in 2020. That album was placed on our Honourable Mention for Best Albums of 2020.
