Video Premiere: Future Womb - "TGIF"

Calgary dream-pop act, Future Womb, stormed into our hearts with their 2019 debut album, BABYGIRLGALACTIC, and countless shows and festival appearances. They followed it up with a couple live releases in 2020 and now, we are excited to give you a brand new music video. The video is for the track “TGIF” which can be found on their incredible debut.

According to front person Mikaela Cochrane, the video was shot in 2019 and was meant to be used as way to help promote a tour. Unfortunately tour plans were stalled when she moved away from Calgary, then all plans were halted in 2020 because… well… you know.

The video was filmed during the final days of the Big Winter Classic festival in 2019. It was directed by Tesh Guttikonda (Kalpana Films), shot by Shae Paterson, and stars burlesque artist Jezebel Sinclair dancing alone in an apartment overlooking the Calgary skyline. Enjoy!
