Premiere: Pop Pop Vernac - “Biscuits, Ham, & Eggs”

Regina garage-punks Pop Pop Vernac came together in the summer of 2017 and have been wowing audiences in their hometown with their awe inspiring live shows ever since. The music is fast, the energy is off the charts, and the shows are unpredictable. Each member contributes writing duties, and they arrange together as a group, sharing vocal responsibilities from song to song.

We are happy to announce they will be releasing a free visual album on March 5th called Rapid Fire that was influenced by the early days of the COVID-19 quarantine.

In a statement regarding the album the band revealed:

“We collaborated with Micaella Joy, a poet and promoter who gave us our first show back in 2017. She composed a poem entitled "Cold War" that opens up the record; and it speaks to the demands our society has placed on artists, industries, and mothers during this pandemic. Many of us have been forced to modify our daily lives into realities that often include plenty of screen time but nearly ZERO live music time. We wanted to bring musical joy into this situation, so we have composed and recorded 9 short tracks that are intended to be enjoyed for free in the safety and comfort of your own home.”
