Premiere: Zakk Bradley - Old Soul / If You Could Find It In Your Heart

Way back at the end of 2018, we introduced our viewers to the sounds of Zakk Bradley with the premiere of his very first single. Today we are happy to report that Bradley has finally returned with new music and this is one BC artist that you’ll want on your radar.

Hailing from Kamloops, Bradley plays sparse and rugged country music. This Friday will see the release of his new two-song single entitled “Old Soul / If You Could Find It In Your Heart”, through Divine Bovine Records.

Today we are very excited to be premiering both songs. Rich pedal steel steals the show musically in “Old Soul” while Bradley’s gravelly baritone describes imagery of fading summer. The B-side, “If You Could Find It In Your Heart,” is a confessional take on seeking forgiveness which we’re told touches on Bradley’s personal struggles with alcohol. The gorgeous pedal steel is once again centre stage with another sparse arrangement that ramps up to a full band outro - the soundtrack to Bradley riding into the sunset.
