Premiere: PLEASEBENiCE - "if i ain't on it (feat. Ronald Morrera)"

PLEASEBENiCE is the musical moniker for Iris Yakymyshyn, an Edmonton born trans artist who moved to Calgary during quarantine. She burst onto our radar last year with the release of her incredible Hyperpop album, I Love You So Much!, that was reviewed as a “Pick Of The Week.”

Today we are very excited to announce that a new EP from PLEASEBENiCE is set for release in early September. It’s called the sun loves me and we’re told it will cover lots of sonic ground, varying from sample based Hip-Hop tracks to gay club anthems to sound collage. The EP will show off Yakymyshyn’s skills as a producer and the vast array of influences she pulls from to create her music.

The Cups N Cakes Network is very excited to share the first single from the sun loves me. The song is called “if i ain’t on it” and is features Edmonton pop artist Ronald Morrera. Check it out and purchase below.
