Premiere: Hieronymus Harry - Radiant Planet
Hieronymus Harry is a psych-folk artist based in Toronto who has become well-known is his hometown, collaborating with a bunch of highly acclaimed acts like Shirley Hurt, Matthew “Doc” Dunn, ROY, Carl Didur, and Cups N Cakes favourite, Dr. Joy.
On November 11th, Harry will drop his much anticipated debut album The River of Doom. The record boasts a warm 60s nostalgia with jangly-country vibes and just the perfect dose of psychedelic weirdness (kind of like opting out of the handful mushroom and just eating a couple caps). Regarding the themes found on the album, Harry explains:
“The River of Doom is like this everflowing stream of uncontrollable experiences. This album is about coming to terms with that chaos and finding peace within it.”
Today the Cups N Cakes Network is excited to be premiering the record’s latest single, “Radiant Planet,” a song that Harry explains is about:
"finding that bright, comfortable space within yourself where others can come and meet you. We meander in and out, but finding contentment with its absence can be the quickest way back in.”
Enjoy “Radiant Planet” below and watch out for The River of Doom arriving on November 11th.
