Premiere: Alanna Matty - End Up Alone

Alanna Matty blend inspiring indie-folk with dream-pop and managed to take full advantage of a strange world of live streaming live shows. Her tri-weekly concert series on Twitch garnered a massive following over the course of the pandemic.

It was with the encouragement of that community that she decided to re-imagine some of her previously recorded songs, including “End Up Alone”, self-producing and mixing the track over lockdown:

“The track is recorded in my home studio, and is much more experimental than the previous iteration. I think it adds more of the melancholy and frustrations at things changing in ways you didn’t expect, and realizing that you really can only rely on yourself at the end of the day.”

The track will be included on her debut full-length, Thoughts//Feelings, set to be released later this year with vinyl pre-orders available now. Today we are excited to share the highly imaginative lyric video for “End Up Alone”. Check it out below.
