Premiere: Defend The Rhino - Illustrations

Edmonton’s Defend The Rhino is an instrumental music project conceived by singer-songwriter, composer and audio engineer, Nathaniel Sutton. A multi-instrumentalist with a flair for musical drama, Sutton’s project tows a line between ambient, electronica and post-rock.

Sutton is gearing up for the release of his third full length album later this year. The record will be called Make Do and will act as a companion piece to 2020s Wing It. The new album, recorded at Royal Studio in Edmonton, will be released through Shady Ridge Records and carries on the rich tapestries of the album it follows. Experimentation with electronic elements, guitar and drums, soaked in reverb are on full display.
