Premiere: Alexandra Babiak - Settle Down

Today we are very excited to announce the new album from Toronto singer/songwriter Alexandra Babiak. It will be called Magical Thinking and is set to arrive on October 27th. No only do we get the pleasure of announcing its arrival but we also get to share its first single, “Settle Down”.

The song is beautifully crafted with piano, synths, guitar and rhythm section and explores reaching for a level of peace and stability while still dealing with personal demons. Babiak’s voice is gorgeous, soaring until you’re completely sucked into her world.

The song was produced by Sandro Perri and engineered by Chris Stringer and features Laura Pitkanen on guitar, Josh Cole on bass, Thomas Hammerton on keys/synth, and additional synth by Sandro Perri.
