Premiere: Jake and the Kid - Moose

Jake and the Kid is a seven piece Indie Rock band from Regina. They craft their unique blend of Jazz, R&B, Folk, and Shoegaze through off-the-cuff improvisation. Their forthcoming EP, Baby Bro, is set to arrive on February 22nd and over the course of six songs, it tells the story of growing up and the struggles of leaving your childhood behind.

Today, the Cups N Cakes Network is excited to premiere the first single from the forthcoming EP. The song is called “Moose” and was inspired by a restaurant in the small Saskatchewan town of Kenosee called “The Moosehead" which burnt down in 2021.
