From Toronto is Clairmont The Second, and his new EP under the moniker GRAiN Inc. His nasally, lamar-esque delivery is beautifully juxtaposed by his jazzy, lush beats. At times it sounds like Miles Davis came back and started making hip-hop. Amazing production with bars doubly so, this is a must listen.
Tallies - Patina
This Toronto based band has their own unique take on dream-pop which is featured heavily in their newest album Patina, and I absolutely love it. These nine tracks have these cute riffs, tight drums, and some entrancing vocals that form their iconic dreamy sound. For fans of everything nostalgic, this is right up your alley.
