B. Michaael wields sound swells as though the time signature can be controlled by merely imagining its movement. Gore is the new full length album by the Vancouver based composer and producer. The album is a trip to deep forest, just after making stops in the nether regions of space. It’s a fantastic and imaginative syntax ride.

Eine Kleine China - Palamino

Once in a while I come across bands, artists, and composers which make me hear their music with not only ears, but with my mind’s eye. Eine Kleine China has proven to be one of those bands. From the first track, to the last, it was all visual aids. And as you listen, remember, this was recorded LIVE!   

Crossed Wires - Ellipsis

East coast power punk pop trio Heather Grant, Kayla Stevens, and Dewayne Shanks (Crossed Wires) released their third studio album on August 4. These three have an undeniable ability to write catchy lyrics that flow easily. At first listen, their music takes you there without you having to think about it.
