Duke & The Peacemakers harken back to the good ol’ days with their unique blend of blues, funk, and country designed to get you moving on the dance floor. The Edmonton six piece formed as a fun idea that Cole Murphy-Hopp, Jacob Whittle, and Jacob Brassington had to play the music they loved and the band took off from there. They draw influence from artists like Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers, James Brown, Count Basie, and The Ink Spots to create their infectious sound.

Today we are pleased to offer up an exclusive premiere of “Southbound Train” in advance of its release this Friday. The track sees the band slowing things down for a sad country number. Enjoy the song below and be sure to check them out on your favourite streaming service.
