Album Premiere: Dead Fibres - John. Q. Citizen
As the Sled Island Music Festival approaches, many acts are reaching out to us with ideas to give their shows in Calgary from June 21st- 26th a boost. We love doing this! It helps us push the stuff we love and gives us the opportunity to deliver fun exclusives like the one we are doing today for Edmonton/Vancouver noise-punk trio Dead Fibres.
Just last week we premiered a great video for their song “Something’s Wrong With My Head” from their forthcoming album John. Q. Citizen and today we are very excited to be premiering that album from start to finish. Think of it as a listening party to get you amped up for their Saturday performance at Sled Island at Broken City opening for Control Top. For those in Alberta that can’t make it to Sled Island, Dead Fibres will be playing their Edmonton release show on July 9th at The Aviary, tickets are going fast, get them here.
