Kellarissa, PRIORS, Local Needs, and Emry Tupper

Kellarissa - Voice Leading

This new album from Vancouver-based musician Kellarissa is a love letter to the synth-pop sound of the 1980s. Her poetic and experimental approach to the genre is aided through her mental healing as a result of lockdown, which gives the album a serene yet haunting sound.

PRIORS - NEWNEWNEW

This trio of tracks from Montreal’s PRIORS is hard hitting, badass, and delivered at a mile a minute. Blending the iconic sounds of rock n’ roll with punk, these tracks have megaphone styled vocals and an in-your-face attitude. Doubly so considering the albums message is “a fuck you to the industry”.

Local Needs - Lustrum

Lustrum is the newest release from Vancouver’s Local Needs. Growing up in an isolated town, his instrumental songs convey his feelings of escaping his hometown and exploring new experiences. His sound combines marching beats and nostalgic effects to evoke feelings of a past now derelict and decomposed.

Emry Tupper - Raygun Gothic

Toronto-based musician Emry Tupper delivers his debut album, Raygun Gothic. With soulful vocals, a strong bass, and funky synths. Emry comes out strong with his jazzy approach to alternative pop. For those who dig some killer bass lines and a gorgeous singing voice, Emry’s up your alley.
