Britt A.M. - Immolation
From this British Columbia artist is five songs of post-punk greatness, with mellow verses that get hard into the chorus, reminiscent of the ass-kicking works of Plumtree. However, it’s not all badassery, as the opening track is an alternative folk track with some mild country vibes. In the end, this is a great album for those who dig good music.
Patrick Holland - The Leash
Opening up with some vintage synths and reverberated vocals, this album gives off heavy 80s vibes through its catchy instrumental, and Holland’s neo-crooner vocals accentuate it perfectly. This single also has a really groovy guitar solo with effects that make it almost sound like chiptune. It’s a real nostalgia trip, and I love every second.
D-Sisive - Knoblich Gardens [three]: The Blue boat
This new release from Toronto’s D-Sisive is six tracks with themes of introspection and demands your attention through its concept album presentation and its incredible meaning. This emotional album is getting a lot of attention, and it truly deserves more through D-Sisive’s desire to say something with impact, blurring the lines between hip-hop and poetry.
